Much improvement with the Russian long-waves this morning.  Japanese stations
improved too.  No DU action noted.  Trying for Hawaii on 1500 kHz with the
sports show being heard that never ID's.  Have a sports program on 1500 with
a fair signal.  Have the recorder running, hoping for a ID.  1408 utc.

153         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1247-1254 excellent signal with music and talk.
180         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1257 fair signal with Blues music.
189         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1258 good with Blues song.
234         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1255 good signal with woman singing the Blues.
279         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1256 good signal with above song.
558         JAPAN, JOCR 1346-1348 believed to be the station playing US Pop song with very
              weak signal.  
594         JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1341 fair with man in Japanese and a little splatter.  Weak 1358
603         REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1335-1340 weak with man talking.  One of the few
              splatter free channels at this location.
657         DPR OF KOREA, 1333 weak with woman in Korean, // 3250.
666         JAPAN, JOBK 1359 bit of audio getting through with a lot of splatter.  
693         JAPAN, JOAB 1400 woman/ man Japanese with fair signal.  
747         JAPAN, JOIB 1311 fair signal, but a lot of KXL splatter.
774         JAPAN, JOUB 1310 weak with splatter and man in Japanese.
828         JAPAN, JOBB 1308 weak with man in Japanese.  Weak 1401.
1134       UNKNOWN, 1318 very weak with a ton of splatter from CKWX.  China or Japan?
1053       REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Jammer with weak signal.  No sign of Anti Imperialism National
              Democratic Front station.
1566       REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1303 weak to fair signal with man/woman in Japanese.
              Good signal at 1312 with woman in Japanese.  
1575       THAILAND, VOA 1313 fair signal with program in Vietnamese.
