Hi Patrick. He probably meant the gear associated with DSL service...that usually includes some form of router (aka "Hash Generator")

Another fabulous noise-box is the set-top converter for digital TV!

DSL causes noise? I have heard there is no issue with DSL from some
others. Maybe I am stuck with 28.8 dial forever  here? Or the 6Gs for
Verizon Wireless?  The Cable here radiates terribly. That is why I still
don't have it for my computer.
