Weather conditions today are drastically improved to recent days...humidity
has come up dramatically and there have even been a few showers in the area.
I can see the mountain from my window here, and there is definitely
something going on, primarily on the northeast side of the peak. I have
heard that they've been setting backfires and doing protection of the
mountain. If crews are indeed still up there, I think much, if not all of
it, can survive without too much trouble. But, there's never a sure thing in
these situations.
