[IRCA] Dearborn DX
Here are some loggings from a recent visit to Dearborn, MI. IBOC crud is
everywhere. WRDT-560, WJR-760, WWJ-950, WFDF-910, WDFN-1130, WXYT-1270, and
even a graveyarder WEXL-1340. If I'm not mistaken Detroit has the most IBOC
stations of any market as they try to push this failed technology in the
auto industry. Will the suits at Ibiquity go to Congress to ask for a
bailout?

the death of Canadian broadcasting magnate and Toronto Blue Jays owner Ted
Rogers, ".more on 680news.com".
820 WBAP TX Fort Worth - 12/2 0703 - over CHAM/WOSU mix with local traffic
report ".on the 820 WBAP 24-hour traffic watch".
850 KOA CO Denver - 12/2 0701 - creaming WKNR with Wall Street report from
Fox Business Network, "850 KOA news time straight up 5 o'clock".
970 WGTK KY Louisville - 12/1 1720 - dominating frequency (just out of range
of WWJ-950 IBOC slop) with ad for Southeast Outlook newspaper, promo for
Michael Medved show ".. only on 970 WGTK".
1070 WNCT NC Greenville - 12/3 0802 - over CHOK/WFNI mix with slogan "new
Christian radio, AM 1070 WNCT", PSA for shopping locally.
1070 WINA VA Charlottesville - 12/1 0704 - fighting off CHOK and WFNI with
ad for Jefferson Coin Shop, ".news radio 1070 WINA time is 7:04" into local
weather.
1080 KRLD TX Dallas - 12/1 0718 - over nulled WTIC with local news, "KRLD
news time is 6:18" into local weather.
1110 WGNZ OH Fairborn - 12/1 0756 - over nulled WBT with station promo:
".for the best Southern Gospel music, thanks for listening to Good News 1110
WGNZ".
1150 WCRK TN Morristown - 12/1 0706 - ".you can hear it here on WCRK" noted
under big pest CKOC.
1410 WHLN KY Harlan - 11/30 1810 - dominating frequency with promo for U of
Kentucky v. Western Kentucky basketball game, "now the WHLN forecast for our
listening area" into local weather.
1430 WXNT IN Indianapolis - 12/1 0710 - over mix of several stations with
"34 degrees in Indianapolis on news talk 1430 AM" into local news.
