You are certainly a fount of info, and by posting my item, I got the info needed without having to contact the station. Thanks very much. As usual it comes with a criticism.

The x does not replace a c, but -ct- or other letter combos which are pronounced like an x. Saves a keystroke, and has precedent, e.g. in connexion, an accepted British variant. It is something I do, without being concerned whether it annoys you. Now I`ve used up a lot of my saved keystroxe.
