There has always been a mixing product in Astoria coming from around the
cannery buildings along Marine Drive, mixing 1230 & 1370 on 1510. It has
been there for decades. 1230 is the top contender, but 1370 is
underneath. Once you leave that area driving, the mixing product goes
away. But in downtown Warrenton where I DXed as a kid, if the moisture
level was enough from rain, I could barely detect the 1510 mix there,
across Youngs Bay during the day on any receiver, but it was weak. Out
here halfway between Astoria & Seaside, I get no mixing products.
