531 would also be a good DU freq to try.  There is an ultralight 
precedent of sorts - I heard the 531 Aussie at Jordan River BC in the 
late 80s using a GE Walkman type radio.  It had help, though - I wrapped 
a few turns of the beverage wire around the radio.
