Back in the early 80s, I was a member of the NZRDXL and those guys heard
everything it seemed. The Australian & New Zealand DXers reported 250
watt GY North Americans often. So that part of the world has really been
great for long haul MW DX. However, in today's world it is not as good
as it once was as the dial has filled up a lot more with many more 24/7
stations in Australia & New Zealand.  But if you get away from the
cities, the long haul DX is still there.
