Scott,

Once again I got too emotional over the whole thing. I'm totally forgetting
that the IBOC scheme also is being used on VHF-FM broadcast.

Up there, the picture is drastically different, and as someone observed,
IBOC-FM probably WILL become the standard. So I ought not to jump on the
$200 "junk" receiver.

The FM receivers, well I know little of them and to my discredit, too.
But I don't DX on FM BCB right now. I should change that because I have
a "deep fringe" FM/TV antenna and an excellent FM tuner.

The antenna is so The Boss can watch 'rasslin' off-air.

I DO half a cassette full of NC FM BCB DX. Maybe I can get up to FM and
see how IBOC is shaping up on FM.

My prediction is that IBOC AM will die quickly. iBiquity will probably
turn profitable from its FM operation.
