OK, here are the after Midnight impressions. Apparently a lot of
stations did not kick their HD on tonight. But two did here on the West
coast, 

1190 KEX , Yep, they kicked theirs on at Midnight and the hash it pretty
nasty. The worst out of the bunch as I expected. I can easily hear CtoC
on 1180 in USB without problems, 1200 is worse, I can hear WOAI, but it
would not be worth listening to unless it was for DX.

1530 KFBK  Then kicked theirs on to at Midnight. I can easily hear both
1520 & 1540 in SB, easier than KEX, but the audio on KFBK is terrible.
They sound like they are broadcasting from the bottom of a barrel.
Unless they get that solved people will not be listening. It is awful.

There might be others, but those so far are the only ones I can tell for
sure.
