It's around sunset in Bangkok at that time, Dennis.   That was quite 
a strong but variable signal around that time, sometimes stronger 
than HLAZ or even whatever was on 1570.  Audio here wasn't as high a 
quality as you heard on the hour, but improved a few minutes later to 
a woman talking.

As you mentioned, HLAZ came up after 1230 for a few minutes; they 
seem to have the same choral hymn every morning about then...wonder 
if it's in Japanese?

Very little realtime listening time here.  Just before 1300UT had 
weak audio on 612 and 828, with 6 pips on the latter, so not JOBB, 
possibly 3GI.
