Re: [IRCA] KBRD -KDLY

Mike,

I talked to Skip at KBRB several times through the years about K-BIRD
and K-LADY. K-BIRD was his love and he wanted to leave the station to
serve the people of the Olympia area after he passed. The format of
older adult standards/big band has a bit of a bigger nitch that lets say
Irish or Italian programming. There are no adult standards stations in
that area. The nearest is Seattle (KIXI 880). You will hear things on
KBRD you wont hear anywhere else. I am a fan of unique programming. I
doubt the overhead of KBRD is that much, so if they find that nitch and
can pay the bills, why not?
Presonally, I liked radio years ago better than today. At least the
stations IDed more often. hi.
