Things lasted a bit longer here to the north and west of you,
Dennis. 1557 had fairly readable audio (EE) over the hour at 1600UT,
but still hunting for any ID in the murky recording. I'd qualify
the "best" conditions a bit, to say "on the upper portion of the
band". Once again, things had pretty much faded out below 900 kHz by
1545UT. I think I might have missed a good part of the opening with
doing other things around here between 1515 and 1545UT; will do
better tomorrow, so hope conditions stay good.

Even so, murky audio on 1188, 1467, 1521, 1575, 1584 and 1593;
better, readable at times, on 1242, 1422, 1503 and 1557. "Send
around the ad salesman": 1566...definitely awhile since it was heard
at that level. 279 never quite made it to audio, so all was not lost
below 900 KHz

At 1645 UT, there were still carriers on 1287, 1566 and 1575, as
well as weaker ones elsewhere. 1287 is still holding forth at
1715UT, but most others are gone.

However, CKUA heard on 580 and CHAB on 800 (thanks to Bill Kral for
noticing that fine daytime DX a few days ago), so it might be tough
dragging the ears away from the radio.

Suggestions for Dennis' DX: 1278 China?, 1467 S. Korea has been
heard here, 1584 NHK1?

best wishes,

Nick
