I think it's already been suggested that this size might be a bit 
small for the lower portion of the MW band, James.   Patrick Martin's 
have about twice that height I believe.  But the only EWE I tried 
here was about 14 feet high with reasonable response on the bottom of 
the band, so I'm not sure why 10' would appear deaf...
