*** I rather doubt Ft. Monmouth owing to some of the bearings taken
from this area. Also, I'm not at all certain that said Communications
Command is still even based there.

That said, I've seen only a limited few reports on the DX lists where
the signal was strong via groundwave by day, and those have come from
areas which would suggest something in the general area of DC or
perhaps somewhat west of DC.
