When I was at Grayland in mid April KSL 1160 was heard with a decent
signal during the day with 800' beverage antenna. At 700 miles I was very
impressed. Notice that their antenna is very close to the Great Salt
Lake.

KSL really gets out. Most winters they are in here
24/7, and I'm 1250 miles from SLC. Very difficult to get by too. Managed it
twice this past winter for the first time in 30 years of DXing.
