Mike,

I know the feeling. I used to do the 8-5 thing for years. But when I
went to work for myself, I could take time during slow periods to DX,
QSL, and the like. But more than once, the dial would be alive with DX,
and I would have to run out on jobs. However, when you do work for
yourself, there is generally no 8-5 thing. I am on call 24/7 a lot of
the time. So there is good and bad.  Too bad we aren't independently
wealthy. hi.
