[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-20 (Conclusion)

Thanks again to Colin for his extremely detailed TP assessment this morning. Here in Puyallup, China Vs. Korea was the main attraction around 1400, with the fight card covering three main matches-- 603, 657 and 738. All three of the frequencies ended up in wild snarls from 1400-1415, with 603-China, 657-China and 738-HLKG all significantly stronger than yesterday.

With such a wacky situation it was fascinating to park on one of the "fight frequencies" for a few minutes, and see which contestant could gain the upper hand. On 603 HLSA was clearly dominant until 1400, when China rose up to make the frequency a real battleground. In a similar way 657-Pyongyang was practically alone until 1400, when the talk-oriented 657-China (Henan?) gave its bizarre music some serious competition. 738-BEL2 was loud and alone until around 1400, when its KBS co-channel HLKG went on a serious romp, resulting in the most potent TP snarl of the entire fight card around 1410. Other Chinese stations dropped off somewhat in comparison to yesterday-- most notably 639-CNR1 (getting out of the LA splatter for only about a minute around 1415) and the CRI stations on 963, 1017 and 1044. The Japanese big guns were around, but as usual in this valley they weren't anything special. With the exception of another 5" Frequent Flyer FSL deployed in the back yard to receive 657 kHz from 1130 to 1430 (and once again coming away with some potent and wacky S9 signals from Pyongyang) all the DXing during the "main attraction" of this morning's fight card was done at the local Peach Park. Despite the slight propagation drop off in comparison to yesterday, it was definitely worth the price of admission (a few hours of lost sleep).

603 China-HLSA The soft-voiced Chinese lady manages to slowly gain the upper hand over KBS2's Korean pop music at 1404. China (Hulun Buir?) came out of nowhere around 1400 https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/yok042q4eu37a614tew8a17a5ouyldxy

738 BEL2-HLKG Taiwan's female Chinese speaker slowly has the frequency taken over by the Korean music at 1408 https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/0m8cvsofsxpfx97drire4hhzuse69ivm
