Yes, well maybe that was it - the 'J' could well have sounded like a
'K'. I see that they are a high powered class B station, and I have
gotten other stations from NB, notably CBA 1070 from Moncton. So that
is much more likely than an extremely small station from Kansas!

11/24/2005 - 02:00 - From my Brooklyn apartment, using Grundig Satellit
800 - internal
ferrite loop in conjuction with Terk AM Advantage antenna:

Country music station on 1260 kHz, alternating with WWMK Disney and
others. I heard the call letters several times, couldn't make out
clearly. The only thing close to what I heard is

KWHK 1260 AM HUTCHINSON, KS - I'm pretty sure I heard 'WHK' . Could this
be possible??? Anyone have any other ideas?

Happy Thanksgiving.
