I'll chime in and say that the TA's I got last night (incl. R Farda 1575) 
were booming in on my east-west EWE which is similar in size to yours, 
Dennis, while the slopers were awash with domestic splatter and noise. The 
EWE is usually quieter, and last night it really paid off. I may run a N-S 
version this winter and try phasing the two. I am a real believer now,
