Re: [IRCA] 2K or 2.5K ohm pots

Hi everyone,

I was able to find 2.5K pots from Nebraska Surplus for $2 each. I bought
6 to cover the minimum, but I want more than one or two anyway. The 5K
pots work that I buy from Radio Shack, but are a bit too touchy.

I was off line for 7 hours today while a meter service was totally
replaced and two new 8 foot ground rods were installed. The background
noise level has been increasing through the years. No biggie, but
enough. I noticed that KXL Portland now comes in so local like you get
the feeling you are in the Portland metro area. Today when I checked,
there was no noise under them at all. All powerlines are under ground,
but the old rustly ground rod from the 60s needed to be replaced. It is
nice the code changed to two 8 foot rods connected with bare #6 wire, 6
feet apart. The greatest thing about it. I did not have to pay for it.
hi.
