Hi Pat,
           What kind of HP cartridge? I have an HP printer that uses a #45
black and #78 color and they are easy and neat to refill. In fact I refilled
my black several times already with no problems. I used to have a Lexmark
with a 17G0050 black cartridge and it was messy to refill and a waste of
time refilling it as the ink jets would dry out and refuse to work anyway.
