And very good luck to you Steve!  Hopefully your move will go without a hitch.  Summers are hot and sticky but not as bad as the San Joaquin Valley.  Winters can get pretty chilly but livable.
You will definitely enjoy dx back there.  Especially during sunset hours.  It is good there all 12 months of the year.  Unlike here, where summer is a 99% loss.  Are you living in Boone or
farming on the outskirts?
