Venezuela seems to have been heard on FM in Romania

I have been
doing some further research, finding sufficient evidence to show that the clip
recorded in Romania
on July 1, 2009 was aired by a Venezuelan FM network.

If you type
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuito_UniÃn_Radio#Lunes_a_Viernes_2

you will
find that the UniÃn Radio network runs a sub-network called La Mega where there
is a regular feature run by Alejandro LeÃn (mentioned in my previous mail),
Mo-Fri at 2-4 pm, which is called âZona Escolar FMâ.

It is this
programme that the FM DXer in Romania
has picked up.

The two
school girls invited as âlocutorasâ whose names were given in my previous mail,
are probably shown on the first picture with the programme host Alejandro âmi
papitoâ LeÃn, at

On the Mega
home page, where Alejandro LeÃn is shown, it is said that the Mega transmitter
in Puerto Ordaz, 88.9 (why not 88.7??), probably will have to stop relaying the
âZona Escolar FMâ programme if president ChÃvezÂs new and restrictive media law

2. The mention of a programme host asÂ"Alejandro Leon, PRODUCTOR NACIONAL INDEPENDIENTEÂ3104"

3. Reference made to the programme hostÂasÂ"Alejandro MI PAPITO LeÃn".

No. 2 and no.Â3 are consistent with Venezuela. The P.N.I. lincensing appears to have been created byÂthe ChÃvez government,ÂapparentlyÂin an answer toÂtheÂ"certificado de locutor" of earlier governments, Âand "Mi papito" is arguably unknown as a term of endearment in Spain but quite consistent with VenezuelanÂ(and Colombian) practice.Â

4.ÂOn the Spain mainÂit is rather unusualÂtoÂpresent school girlsÂthe wayÂwe are hearing, asÂ"seÃoritas", in this case Paola Barreto and MarÃa Alejandra Morales.

There is a Venezuelan FM station on Isla Margarita on 88.7 where programmes are arranged in 2-hour blocks, but so far I have been unable toÂcheck the infoÂwith my Venezuelan contacts.

Whether aired or not on a Spanish FM station, this feature seems to have originated in Venezuela.Â

The 88.7 ``Colombian`` has already been discussed at great length including in DXLD. It turns out there is a relay in SPAIN of the Colombian station. 

Alabama FM to Ireland, on the other hand, has been verified. Paul Logan also got several other eastern US/Canadian FM stations in that obviously multi-hop Es, not F2 opening.
