Brazil, 5970.01, Radio Itatiaia (p), 0925-0935, Noted a male in steady
Portuguese language comments until 0930. At 0930 a different male
gives possible ID then returns to first male. Signal is threshold. (Chuck
Bolland, July 18, 2009)
Bolivia, 6075, Radio Causachun Coca, 0934-0950, Slide in here while
music was being presented, so wasn't sure what I was listening. At 0937
a male talks live, in Spanish presenting TC and ID. This is followed
with a long discourse - probably news. Signal kept dipping into the
noise leaving blanks in the comments. Didn't matter, since I couldn't
understand much anyway. At 0948, comments finished and music
returns but only for a minute. The male contacts a second fella and
they seem to be talking on the telephone. The signal ended up being
fair. Rechecked at 1043 and signal was still at a fair level. (Chuck
Bolland, July 18, 2009)
Bolivia, 6155.25, Radio Fides, 0952-1000, At tune in, noted two
females in Spanish language conversation or news. It seemed like
news since they were both taking turns commenting. This continued
until 0954 when music is presented which continued through the
top of the hour. Signal was poor. (Chuck Bolland, July 18, 2009)
Peru, 4835.39, Radio Maranon, 1006-1030, Noted a male in steady
Spanish comments at tune in until 1008 when Huaynos music is presented.
Canned ID over music every couple of minutes while a live
TC announcement from the male over music. Signal is fair to good.
(Chuck Bolland, July 18, 2009)
Indonesia, 9524.90, Voice of Indonesia, 1025-1035, Noted a female
in English comments. Signal is rather bad and weak, so it's difficult to
pull out any intel from the comments. (Chuck Bolland, July 18, 2009)
Indonesia, 9680, RRI Jakarta, 1033-1045, Briefly heard music at
tune in which was followed with Indonesian comments from a male.
Signal was fair, on a clear frequency. (Chuck Bolland, July 18, 2009)
Unid 6049.58, 1035-1045, Noted a weak carrier here under HCJB
signal. I am thinking it might be Radio Santa Rosa, Peru, but there's
no audio to help out; so reporting this as an unident. (Chuck Bolland,
July 18, 2009)
