[HCDX] Corrections/comments for April NASWA TropLogs
I really need to stop with the late-night, last minute editing marathons.
Seeing how April's NASWA Journal should be in the mail soon, a few comments & corrections are in order. First, the logs in question as I originally submitted them, followed by comment or correction. Corrections & comments are not meant to criticize or condone anyone's DX. Just want to provide as accurate & up-to-date information as possible.
Reader comments & corrections are welcome & appreciated.
NASWA TropLog Editor,
Scott R. Barbour Jr.
>>4814.9 ECUADOR R. El Buen Pastor Saraguro 0147-0154 M ancr w/ ballads; just barely making it thru strong CODAR using USB mode; 2/20. (Parker-PA)
Per info passed along by Rob Wilkner, via Glenn Hauser's DXLD, this station was shut down months ago. There is a Brazilian close to the reported frequency.
>>4010 KYRGYZSTAN R. Rossii Bishkek 0235-0245 (P); In the clear w/ good carrier heard in SSB; but not a trace of audio; 1/28. (Parker-PA)[?? I cant find this on any lists I have-ed.]
I never looked at the DSWCI DBS-10. Kyrgyz Radio 2300-1800, though no mention of R. Rossii relay.
>>4050 KYRGYSTAN R. Rossii Bishkek 1116-1125 M ancr in RR w/ slow pops; in the clear w/ dead quiet band condx; long slow fades from 3-15dB but perfectly audible even at their weakest; 1/18. (Parker-PA)[new time? listed 0000-0200-ed.]
DBS-10 lists this one from 2200-1800. The 0000-0200 I mentioned was per Aoki & Eibi lists.
