[IRCA] TP 18 Dec Victoria version

Back came the sunrise enhancement, sneaking back, not roaring back. Looks as if there was a little DU activity around 12-13UT, but didn't have the recorder running much in that time period, and didn't have the right antenna for DU hooked up either.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not quite

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1566 HLAZ as erratic as has been usual of late, but peaking with female choral music at 1542UT, and had some form of audio until after 1600UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

the above passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

1377 CNR1 man talking //1593 for a few seconds at 1542UT: extreme minimalist DX

1593 CNR1 man talking 1541UT, seemed //6125 which continued to be noisy and weak. Had heard CNR1 theme music after the non-audible pips and ID at 1500UT (the usual audio before / audio after the hour). That and //1377 clinched this.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

738 1422

best wishes,

Nick
