[IRCA] TP 25 Oct Victoria version

Mostly not too exciting, barring another appearance of CNR1 on 1593. If any peak, was around 1430UT, and signals were pretty erratic for the most part

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

nope

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 JOIB man in Japanese 1425UT
774 JOUB woman in Japanese, fading up from 1400UT, when it was fairly weak
972 HLCA female vocal 1433UT, then woman in Korean

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK woman in Japanese, briefly at this level 1425UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese, s/off routine 1342UT
1575 VoA got strong enough to allow man saying "Voice of America" 1430UT
1593 CNR1 one short low, and one long high pip at 1430UT, distinctive Beijing time check; woman talking before then had been //6125

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

1287 woman talking, likely Japanese?
1323 slow music 1435UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

 702 828 864 891 963 1008 1017 1053 1116 1242 1332 1404 1422 1503

best wishes,

Nick
