[IRCA] TP 12 Oct Victoria version

As Walt mentioned, a splashy morning, plus erratic signals and lots of them. All sorts of "almost there" audio, but little really good audio. A couple of rare NZ on 603 and 765 helped make it worth the battle

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB woman in Japanese 1415UT with a likely 3LO as the apparent English speaker; still there 1430UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

576 2RN? interview two men 1410UT, parallels were both weak and out of sync so not 100%
612 4QR two men DU English 1418UT
738 Tahiti man in French 1407UT
828 JOBB English lessons 1406UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1406UT
702 2BL ? man in DU English, Australia mention, seemed to be //774 u/JOUB
747 JOIB woman in Japanese 1416UT
846 man in DU English 1405UT, no //
972 HLCA man in Korean 1406UT
1242 JOLF woman in Japanese, faded up to stronger pop mx

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

603 R. Waatea, very weak on a quiet channel , man talking //765
675 light instrumental music 1350UT no //
765 R. Kahungunu, man talking //603
891 JOHK woman talking //594 1355UT
909 man talking 1420UT
954 man and woman, maybe Japnese 1429UT
963 man and woman talking 1416UT
1116 two men DU English?
1287 man mumbleing 1418UT
1314 unID pop music 1413UT
1566 piano music, man talking, too murky to guess 1414UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

621 837 864 873 918 1179 1269 1503 1512 1539

best wishes,

Nick
