Hello All,
Â
Asian signals continued to improve across the band this morning, with 594-JOAK the star of the session here with very good signals around 1330. Korean stations on 603, 972, 1134 and 1566 also had their moments during a generous sunrise enhancement from 1325-1340.
Â
The band was already wide open at my 1305 start time with 594, 972 and 1566 all having fair to good peaks, while 603, 693 and 1134 were starting to come out of the noise. 594-JOAK increased in strength pretty dramatically as daylight appeared around 1310, reaching its best level of the entire month (very good) with JapaneseÂfemale speech and interval musicÂatÂ1328. 603-HLSA'sÂclassic female vocalÂmusic also hit aÂgood level at 1332, while 972-HLCA's Korean female speech hadÂfair strength at 1326. The NHK2 parallels on 693 and 747Âwere both around at the same time but never came close to matching 594-JOAK's strength. 1134-KBS made an unusual March appearance with fair Korean speech throughÂVancouver splatter at 1335, while on the high band 1566-HLAZ'sÂJapanese service was in and out at a good level practically throughout the session.ÂBoth 1575 and 1593 also featured weak audio at various times during the session but couldn't stay around for more than a few seconds at a time.ÂDespite the improved conditions Asian signals didn't stick around for very long in the increasing daylight, though, withÂall the TP's way down inÂthe noise by 1350. Overall it was a pretty interesting session, with far greater variety than the usual late March mediocrity.
