[IRCA] TP 19 Mar Victoria version

I recorded a worse morning than it had to be, unfortunately using the north Flag by mistake, while the signal strength monitor said there were likely occasional audios to be heard from the west after 1100UT. Didn't rectify that error until just before 1400UT, and grabbed a couple of New Zealanders. All gone by about 1420UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

738 Tahiti? pop mx 1354UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

the above passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

1035 Radio ZB with man talking excitedly //1098 which was delayed somewhat, 1359UT; splatter killed anything on hour. 1107 woman talking, DU English? 1405UT; by the time I found the Livesport/TAB webstream, it had a man talking, as did 1107 at 1409UT; SBS stream had vocal mx, so not them.
1278 man talking briefly, 1406UT, DU English? No ZB parallels at this time
1386 rhythmic vocal mx 1412UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

567 801 819 882 909 1008 1026 1215 1287 1503 (a rather NZ looking collection)

best wishes,

Nick
