[IRCA] TP 19 Mar Victoria version
A bit of sleeper of a morning....quite a lot of signals there from
1230UT onwards, but fighting with splatter, and popping up
unannounced. I'm sure there are a number of audios missed when one
of the many carriers took a quick fade up.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
567 JOIK woman and man in Japanese 1348UT //weaker 594
693 JOAB English lessons, with CBU playing low key classical piano 1348UT
747 JOIB Japanese man 1241UT
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1249UT; s/off for NHK2 again today was
1440UT. Too bad as carrier was sometimes at good level even after 1530UT
972 HLCA Korean male ballad 1350UT, part of singing lessons? Also
man and woman in Korean 1412UT
1566 HLAZ two men in Chinese 1407UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
558 HLQH man and woman in Korean 1419UT //603
594 JOAK many times, but never caught it in full fire breathing mode
603 HLSA man and woman in Korean 1419 UT //558
1044 CRI woman in Japanese //7410 at 1411UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
828 JOBB man in Japanese 1308UT
1206 Yanbian woman in Korean 1355UT
1287 JOHR two women in Japanese 1247UT
1395 woman in Chinese, then rock music 1408-1411UT, Anhui Story
Radio? see if that archive is still around?
1422 man in Chinese 1401UT
1503 JOUK man in Japanese //594 1403UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
666 JOBK woman talking //567 1419UT
738 two stations, woman talking and musice, a mess 1352UT
855 woman talking, insistent Korean? 1358UT
873 JOGB man in Japanese 1323UT //747
945 CNR1 man talking //1593 1254UT
981 CNR1 pop vocal //1593 1239UT
1314 woman talking, Japanese inflection 1321UT
1386 NHK2 woman talking //774 1413UT
1539 man talking DU English? west Flag was stronger 1422UT
1575 SE Asian sounding talking by woman and man on north Flag, likely VoA
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
621 639 657 819 846 855 864 918 1035 1089 1098 1134 1242 1278
1296 1323 1377 1494 1602 seemed to be Asian; 1098 seemed DU
best wishes,
