[IRCA] TP DX on Jan 19 in Seattle

All the action today was at the high end of the dial for a few minutes centered at 1540 UTC. I had carriers on most of the 9 kHz channels above 1350, but very little below. The opening seemed to peak exactly at the NHK2 sign-off time, allowing me to catch snippets of NHK audio on several channels. 1386 was by far the best and allowed me to perform sanity checks on a few seldom heard frequencies. 1476, for example, with a 1 kw'er and 2 100 watters listed.

GOOD
HLAZ-1566 - Chinese talk & music briefly good 1545, mostly fair otherwise

FAIR
1386 NHK2, Japanese talk 1538, man with murky ID for (I think) JOKB at 1540, then rose up to nice level with NA. Music box IS 1541 //1602 et al
1422 JORF, male talk 1436
1593 CNR2 with Chinese male 1540, good signal but merciless Freedom-1590 splat made for rough copy. NHK2 in background with Japanese NA, then music box IS.

POOR
1314 Bits of audio 1545
1467 What sounded like a woman talking 1541, but too weak and splashy to get more. Also a few notes of the NHK music box 1543 //1386. 1476 NHK2, Very poor, a few opening notes of the Japanese NA //1386 at 1540, occasional music box notes 1543 1512 NHK2, Opening bars of the Japanese NA //1386 1540, then lost in the domestic splatter 1584 Bits of audio 1541 during all-too-brief fraction-of-a-second pauses in KLFE-1590 audio
1602 NHK2, NA and music box 1540 //1386
