Re: [IRCA] Help with a couple UNIDs

KVEN gets out extremely well. It is CBS Sports, not news talk. It was ESPN Sports before CBS Sports launched at the beginning of 2013.

A little trivia. KVEN was directional daytime only from late 1964 until mid 1978. I don't know what the pattern was or why it was done. Both towers are still there. KVEN is about 30 miles away from me and is extremely hard to null. There are a handful of directional graveyarders. KYPA-1230 in Los Angeles is a DA-2, triplexed with KHJ at KBLA.

As long as Mexican stations are part of this discussion does anyone know who is intermittently overriding KNBR in Southern California? It's off frequency if that helps. It has to be an XE cheater. I have looked at the XEs on 680 and with the licensed power and distance from here none should bother KNBR.

There is a website that shows the exact frequency many stations are on out to about four or five decimal places plus or minus the licensed frequency. Does anyone have the URL for it?

They are strong here in the daytime but not so much at night. My guess for 1270 would have been XEAZ in Tijuana but I think I heard the announcer mention Sonora???? Ms
