[IRCA] Best of Fall Season TP Signals (Puyallup, WA)

Although Asian propagation has recently hit the skids and is no longerÂproductive for sunrise DXing here in Puyallup, there were some reasonably good moments during this solar-challenged Fall Season. Probably because of the new (and more sensitive)Â15" FSL antenna being used, several big gun Asian stationsÂdid manage their best-ever signals here (603-HLSA, 693-JOAB, 738-Tahiti, and 747-JOIB), while a couple of others equaled their best-ever signals (594-JOAK and 972-HLCA). In general, signals dropped off greatly from the Chinese stations, while second and third-tier Japanese and Korean stations were almost always missing in action.ÂHigh band signals also took a major hit in comparison to past seasons. Asian propagation seems to have taken quite a nosedive since November 8th, making it seem more productive to use limited hobby time for new antenna projects. 
 
All of the following signals were received on a 7.5" loopstick Tecsun PL-380 Ultralight radio, with an inductive coupling boost from a 15" FSL antenna. Signals which pegged the PL-380's S/N display at the 25 maximumÂduring theÂreception are identified with a double asterisk (**).
