[IRCA] TP 6 Nov Victoria version

Yes, quite a recovery from yesterday, though mostly regulars, some second tier, and a couple of Aussies doing quite well to round things out. Plenty of carriers, but with erratic fading.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB woman in JJ o/jazzy mx 1440UT
828 JOBB KK lessons 1406UT, someone else underneath (this was still doing fairly well 1518UT //774
972 HLCA woman in KK 1423UT, but man in KK at 1506UT equalled that

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man in JJ 1413UT
612 4QR a game show maybe? "how many degrees below zero does salt water freeze?" 1358UT, but faded as hour approached, barely heard "this is ABC news" 891 5AN heard ABC fanfare weakly at 1430UT, but faded up to end of news, and into wx forecasts, then woman ID'ing "8-9-1 ABC Adelaide" at 1435UT, a few seconds later, a man said the same thing

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIB man in CC 1347UT
1053 KK jammer 1302UT
1116 4BC 6 pips on hour, fading up to man in DU EE 1301UT
1287 JOHR? slow pop mx after woman in JJ (still heard 1601UT w/ 2 men mumbling, JJ inflection)

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

576 man speaking, RR inflection 1447UT
738 man talking FF inflection 1405UT
873 JOGB man in JJ 1446UT //774
1242 JOLF instrumental mx 1446UT, ID'd w/distinctive cuckoo pips at 1500UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

693702 846 909 936 1017 1089 1134 1143 1152 1179 1269 1278 1323 1386 1422 1575 1593

best wishes,

Nick
