[IRCA] TP 14 Oct Victoria version
As others have noted, down from yesterday (and was generally better
for the big guns before about 1315UT). Lots of carriers though, and
extreme minimalist DXing dug out a couple of odd ones. Sure didn't
last until 1500UT today
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB EE lessons 1302UT
828 JOBB EE lessons 1253UT
1566 HLAZ mqan in JJ 1254UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in JJ 1252UT
747 JOIB EE lessons 1305UT
1575 VoA, man in SE Asian language 1419UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
972 HLCA woman singing, man in KK
1053 KK jammer 1255UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK man in JJ//594 1334UT
639 CNR1 woman in CC?? 1353-6UT, pips at 1400UT quite weak
891 JOHK man and woman in JJ //594 1312UT
945 CNR1? man talking CC inflection? 1245UT,
963 CRI? woman talking 1343UT, could be RR?
981 CNR1 CC pips at 1400UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
576 603 702 711 738 837 846 864 873 891 918 1098 1134 1179 1188
1206 1242 1287 1314 1332 1386 1422 1503 1512 1593
best wishes,
Nick
