Hello All,
As Dennis and Bruce have already reported, several big gun Asians made a halfhearted recovery from yesterday's morbid state. The Koreans on 972, 1053 and 1566 led the way here, with 972-HLCA actually managing pretty good audio very late in sunrise enhancement around 1340.
My session started off at 1245 with 1566-HLAZ having a huge carrier on the ICF-2010 spotting receiver indoors-- a signal which (of course) disappeared completely once the radios and FSL antenna were set up in the back yard. 774-JOUB also had fairly decent strength during the predawn darkness, but the frequency suffers badly from 770-Seattle splatter at this location. As daylight increased around 1310 the Japanese and Korean big guns on 594, 693, 747, 828, 972, 1053 and 1287 came out of the noise with mediocre signals in and out, and it looked very much like the session would end up this way, without any really good TP audio at all. Suddenly around 1338 there was a very late surge from the Koreans, though, with the 1053-Jammer briefly reaching a good level and 972-HLCA managing very good signals for about 5 minutes. By contrast the Japanese big guns floundered in and out of the noise, never sounding very energetic. Best signal of the session was from 972-HLCA, which maintained very good signals until the general Asian propagation collapse around 1348.
972 HLCA Dangjin, S. Korea Female vocal music at very good level late in sunrise enhancement at 1342; best Asian signal of the morning
