[IRCA] TP 31 Aug Victoria version

A very sub-par morning until around 1300UT, when all sorts of things started to appear, especially carriers.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

no

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1566 HLAZ man in JJ 1304UT
1575 VoA assumed, woman in SE Asian language 1312UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

738 Tahiti? jazzy trumpet mx 1307UT
774 mixture of two stations 1305UT, but by 1320UT, seemed to be man in DU EE?
837 man talking, DU EE? 1126UT
972 HLCA? woman talking, KK inflection 1246UT
1161 man talking 1307UT, DU EE inflection?
1287 JOHR? man talking JJ inflection 1317UT
1296 woman talking 1302UT, then man, on and off with mx until about 1312UT, didn't sound DU EE; wondering about Philippines, but no webstream for either listed on 1296.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

702 792 828 864 891 1008 1053 1116 1134 1242 1332 1422 1503 1539 1548 1593 1611

best wishes,

Nick
