Mostly pretty dead until the Filipinos moved in for about 5 minutes
around 1335UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK. Laid back female vocal mx 1339UT //567 which was barely
there at this time.
1566 HLAZ. Man preaching in JJ 1305UT
1575 VoA likely w/ woman in SE Asian language on north Flag 1336UT.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
567 JOIK. Female vocal mx 1323UT //594 which was quite a bit weaker
at this time
747 JOIB. Woman in EE, and man in JJ? //774 1337UT.
774 JOUB likely? Laid back piano mx 1151UT, something similar on 828
a minute or so later.
828 JOBB. Man in JJ fading up 1203UT after weak pips at 1200UT
1215 DYRF likely w/woman in Tagalog talking to man on phone 1336UT,
then into quiet mx. Best on north Flag. Found a webstream for it,
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/dyrf, but after dealing with the ad
that starts it off, wasn't sure where I was. The woman talking there
sure sounded like the one I'd heard about a minute earlier on 1215. Next time.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
603 HLSA? Woman talking 1337UT
1116 4BC? Man talking DU EE? 1305UT, only there briefly
1314 DWXI? Man talking 1340UT, maybe Tagalog, too weak to say
1377 unID. Man talking, second man on phone, at 1341UT maybe
Tagalog? Only problem is that the sole Filipino listed is supposed
to sign off at 1200UT per PAL.
1512 DYAB "Moon River" vocal 1345UT, was repeated on stations webstream.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
612 738 891 909 918 1008 1134 1242 1323 1494 1593
best wishes,
Nick
