[IRCA] TP 11 Mar, Victoria version

Another interesting morning, pretty hot around 1200UT, though mostly the regulars, varying signals after that, though never really dead, finishing off with CNR1-945 well after local sunrise.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB EE lessons 1205UT; still at fair strength w/s/off chimes 1442UT
828 JOBB CC lessons 1344UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

945 CNR1. Strongest overseas signal on band at this time, woman in CC 1435UT, managed to snag //6175 a few minutes later; still making an appearance 1510UT //6175, though weaker 1566 HLAZ man in CC 1414UT; also noted similar strengths in CC 1209 and 1215UT; of course the JJ program had similar strengths, but never really powerhouse.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 man and woman in JJ 1214UT //594, which was weaker just then
594 JOAK JJ vocal mx 1217UT //567
738 Tahiti. man in FF followed by woman 1320UT
747 JOIB EE lessons 1201UT
1422 JORF? man in JJ briefly handling the splatter 1426UT
1512 DYAB. woman talking Tagalog 1425UT; earlier ID'd pop mx and man talking //webstream (http://www.amfmph.com/dyab-cebu-radyo-patrol-1512-khz-13806.html), which was delayed by 50 seconds (later I found http://dyab-cebu.blogspot.ca/, which has video of the announcers, but I'm not sure if it's live, didn't seem parallel with the former site)
1557 Taiwan? man in CC 1414UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

648 VoR? woman talking, then man 1314UT; maybe CC, but too much splatter
873 JOGB man and woman w/EE lessons //774 1203UT
936 Anhui? instrumental mx, then woman then man talking, could have been CC, but too weak to be sure
972 HLCA? slow instrumenatl mx 1512UT
981 CNR1? man talking, might have been CC? 1423UT; also heard a little weaker 1513UT, maybe //6175 w/man talking.
1053 KK jammer 1237UT
1242 a mess. man talking and ? other junk in the murk 1404UT
1287 JOHR? man talking in murk 1511UT; vocal pop mx 1519UT; still there 1535UT, man and woman talking

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

 756 837 864 891 963 1017 1134 1314 1323 1359 1404 1503

best wishes,

Nick
