[IRCA] TP 9 Jan, Victoria version

An odd morning, nothing loud and pretty much no sunrise enhancement. Oh, and last night's squall broke my West Flag support, so listening is a bit crippled just now.. The wounded Flag's remote adjustment still nulls pretty well!

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

also MIA

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

774 JOUB man in JJ 1359UT, pips 1400, and NHK mention by woman
828 JOBB man and woman in JJ 1354UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

648 man and woman talking 1522UT, too sloppy from 650 for guess at language
747 JOIB? man and woman talking 1423UT, lessons?
873 ? man talking 1344UT, too murky for language guess, and no NHK2 audible at this time
972 man talking 1412UT
1566 HLAZ w/standard JJ program s/off 1343UT; "oyasumi nasai" indeed, I'm off to work...actually, the recording tells me that at 1550UT, there was no audio, but there were three carriers, roughly 1566.000, 1566.003 and 1566.031Hz

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

594 738 756 837 1017 1404 1494

best wishes,

Nick
