Re: [IRCA] WKAL-1450 DX test

WKAL 1450 DX Test was logged here in Central Alabama! At first, I thought my ears were playing tricks on me, but I reviewed the recording--and there it was at 04:01 UTC. Slow CW and a partial voice ID in the first five minutes after TOH! My first GY from that far North!

The 1720 KHz pirate could not be heard at all, though I sure tried. Love logging TIS, beacons, pirates, and other "odd ball" stations on MW. I've even got five "Talking House" transmitters in my log on 1610. One was in Cullman, AL about 40 miles from here!

Thanks for all involved with the test!
