[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-21

Hello All,

Asian signals took a definite step backward this morning as vibrant audio was pretty much limited to the Japanese and Korean big gun TP's (with the exception of a potent late rally by 1575-VOA). The band started off around 1315 in average fashion with the usual big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 972 and 1053 taking turns producing good audio-- with 774-JOUB and 972-HLCA the best of the bunch managing excellent signals around 1350. During this early period all of the second-tier Asians except for 603-HLSA and 738-BEL2 were missing in action, a pretty stark contrast from yesterday (when 648, 657 and 1323 were all pretty vibrant during this period). The peak sunrise enhancement period from 1400-1430 didn't seem to enhance very much, with yesterday's collection of anemic Chinese on 639, 936, 963, 981, 1017, 1035, 1044 and 1593 staying at the strong carrier level for the most part. Only 639-CNR1 and 1017-CRI managed threshold audio out of this group, and that was only for a few seco!
nds around 1405. Except for the NHK and Korean big guns, the only decent second-tier Asian audio was from the two overachievers 603-HLSA and 738-BEL2, both of which managed fair signals very briefly around 1335. The 603-HLSA parallel 558-HLQH was around at the same time, but almost inaudible in the 560-KPQ splatter.

1575-VOA made the lackluster session somewhat more interesting with a late rally from 1420-1440, continually fading in and out a for a few seconds at a time with good Asiatic language male-female speech. By 1445 all of the Asian signals were biting the dust here, finishing up a low-average session without any of yesterday's excitement.
