Re: [IRCA] Ultralight TP-DX MP3's for 10-20

Thanks Nick,

Your comments on the MP3's are appreciated.

<<< these illustrate my earlier point about your location
Gary. HLCA, Pyongyang-657 and CRI-1323 were the ones heard here
that morning, and not remotely at those levels. The others, I'd
have to upgrade my antennas considerably...or my location. >>>

Well, this location doesn't have the salt water, the DU's or the TA's that Victoria has-- so maybe the favorable Asian mainland propagation here is some kind of a lackluster consolation prize?

It does seem a little bizarre that certain Chinese and Korean stations show up here regularly when they seem to be unusual DX at other inland locations. Mainland Chinese stations really ran wild here during the peak conditions in 2009-2010-- pestering almost all of the NHK big guns at equal levels late in the season.

73, Gary

Heh, these illustrate my earlier point about your location
Gary. HLCA, Pyongyang-657 and CRI-1323 were the ones heard here
that morning, and not remotely at those levels. The others, I'd
have to upgrade my antennas considerably...or my location.

best wishes,

Nick
