[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-16

Hello All,

Korea was the favored location here this morning, with several stations hitting their seasonal bests. Just when I thought that the second-tier Korean 603-HLSA couldn't get any stronger, it managed to once again peg the PL-380's S/N readout with an excellent signal at 1318 (with no Chinese co-channel at the time). Big gun 972-HLCA was also on the warpath around 1330, and the 1053-Jammer and 1134-KBS hit their seasonal bests around the same time. 603 parallel 558-HLQH once again had no trouble being heard through the KPQ splatter, and the 657-Pyongyang tirades were at an irritating level.

The usual Japanese big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 828 and 1287 were vibrant, and occasionally up to the level of the Koreans on 603 and 972. 594-JOAK and 693-JOAB were the strongest of the NHK stations here, reaching their peak around 1325. Chinese stations were somewhat subdued, with the co-channels on 603 and 657 barely audible, and 639-CNR1 and 738-BEL2 managing only fair audio at times. A check of 1143-Taiwan throughout the sunrise session (for Nick) yielded only feeble audio in and out, but conditions to that area didn't seem favorable on any part of the band. Overall conditions may have been a little off from yesterday, but there were still enough potent signals from Korea and Japan to make things interesting.
