[IRCA] ULR DX..One NEW STN @ Sunrise today....500 Watter!!! 1290 WLBY Saline Michigan

Hi Guys:

   Every once in a while for some reason, I am able to almost completely NULL out one of my Locals 1290 CJBK, with the SONY SRF-T615.........Usually it's only when I'm in the Basement Family Room, as I was this morning!! This morning was one of those days!! Usually this nulling of CJBK is only possible in the early Morning Drive Time slot .......Not sure why??? During several peaks I was able to hear 20-30 Second Stretches of Audio from WLBY unobstructed!!!

As a result I was able to Bag a 500 Watter beneath CJBK for a NEW STATION. Since I usually can't hear anything else on 1290 but CJBK.......I wasn't even aware that there was Station in the Detroit Suburbs on 1290 Khz!!! This caught me by surprise..........I am about 142 Miles from Saline Michigan....not too far on the scale of things.

RADIO USED.........................SONY SRF-T615 Ultralight BAREFOOT

ULR LOG TOTALS are now................1042 Stations Heard

area). ID given by Male DJ @ 0721 as "AM 1290 WLBY".  Male Host with TALK Show 0721-25.
Male DJ with Local Weather Report...Mentioned it would be "High of 36 Tomorrow".
More Ads @ 0728 EST.
