[IRCA] TP's for Saturday, December 01, 2012

Two sessions this morning, the first from 0912-0933 utc.  and the second from 1454-1558 utc.  Jammer noise heard on 1584, different from the audio used on 1053 kHz. Excellent signal from VOA on 1575, was able to used 6 hz filter with no splatter. Fair signal at 1558.

153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 0912-0914 fair  signal with man in Russian followed by instrumental  music. HPAW. 12/01/2012


279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 0931 fair signal with music. HPAW 121/01/2012


594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1459 fair signal with man/woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 0933 fair signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012

1116   UNKNOWN, 1528 weak signal with moderate splatter at times. Asian language, but did not sound like Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012

1287   JAPAN, Sapporo, JOHR HBC 1501 assuming the station with poor signal with bits of audio coming through. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012


1422   JAPAN, Yokohama, JORF RF Radio Nippon 1514-1517  weak signal with woman in Japanese. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012


1557   TAIWAN, Kouhu, CBS-RTI-VoTaiwan, Family Radio 1506-1507 two stations in here with one in Asian language and the other with music. PALs lists Family Radio with English from 1400-1700 utc. W-SW ewe. 12/01//2012.


1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, 1511 weak signal with man Chinese. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012

1575   THAILAND, Ban Phachi, VOA 1454-1456  fair signal with man in Asian language. Excellent signal at 1515 with Chinese. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012


1584   UNKNOWN 1512-1514 weak signal with jammer type noise. Sound varies and is not like the sound of the 1053 kHz Korean jammer. W-SW ewe. 12/01/2012
