Well, the wind at Cannon Beach was severe right up until 1100 UTC this early morning, so there was no hope of heading for the Cliff for an Asian sunset DXing session like what you enjoyed. Around 1200 the wind suddenly died down, though, and by 1300 my DXing station was set up at the Cliff as usual. Asiatic TP's were pounding in-- but so was heavy rain. 675-VOV made its first appearance during the 3 days at the Cliff, which reminded me of its good signals about 3 years ago (during better solar conditions).

Thanks again for your detailed daily TP-DXing reports during this season, Dennis, which have provided a very interesting comparison with my own results. I wish that you can have been with me on the Cliff this weekend (but without the freezing wind, pounding rain and thick fog).

1017  UNKNOWN, 1020-1028 very weak signal at times. Thinking China? Could not 
get a match to // 5965 Korean on CRI. Signal mostly under JOLB.  W-SW ewe.
