Listen from 1153-1530 utc. The best morning here in the year and 3 months we have lived in Kalama, WA. Lower channels with great Japanese receptions. Many channels had duel stations on them. 819 produced DPRK for a new station and two new Japanese stations JOIP 639 & JOGK 756. Encouraged by Gary's early TP receptions lately, I decided to get up earlier this morning and DX. Thanks Gary. 


153    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1331 good signal with man in Russian accompanied by piano music. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

189    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1333 poor signal // 153. HPAW. 11/09/2012

279    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1334 good signal // 153. HPAW. 11/09/2012

531    JAPAN, JOQG NHK1 very weak with music and Japanese talk. // JOAK 594. NW-ewe. 11/09/2012. 

558    REPUBLIC OF KOREA HLQH 1153-1203 assuming the station on top of channel with good signal at times with talk and music. JOCR believed to be the station under HLQH. No pips heard at the top of hour. Mama & Papa's song "California Dreaming" heard and talk on the other station. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

567    JAPAN, JOIK NHK1 1206 good signal with pop music. // JOAK 594. Slight splatter. fair signal 1334. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

576    RUSSIA, Rst Mayak 1210-1212 guessing the station weak signal and talk by male speaker. To weak to make out language. Even weaker station underneath. 1336 man in Russian heard briefly with fair signal. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012


585    JAPAN, JOPG NHK1 1501 assuming the station with very weak signal and male speaker. Faded before I could check // 594. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

594    JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1206 good signal with pop music // JOIK 567. 1208 Woman in Japanese followed by man in Japanese. 1435 still good signal. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

603    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1337-1338 heard on second scan of MW band with woman in Korean followed by music. Chinese station heard underneath HLSA's signal. Still in with Chinese station at 1504. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

603    CHINA, 1337-1338 underneath HLSA with woman speaker.  Under Korea at 1504. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012.

639    CHINA, CNR1 1343 weak signal with Chinese and // 6030 with KFI splatter.  W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

639    JAPAN, JOIP 1439-1442 NHK1 fair signal with piano music. Over China CNR1.  Matched // JOAK 594. New station. NW-ewe. 11/09/2012

648    RUSSIA, VOR 1215-1222 fair signal with man in Chinese battling station with Religious chants. Woman in Chinese at 1422. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

648    UNKNOWN, 1215-1218 over and under VOR with Religious chants. Fair signal at 1215, then faded under VOR. W-SW ewe. 11/19/2012


657    DPR OF KOREA, 1408 weak signal with a lot of splatter. Man in Korean and // 3250. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

729    JAPAN, JOCK NHK1 1230 fair signal over riding moderate splatter from Vancouver, BC traffic station. // JOAK 594.

738    TAHITI, Radio Polynesie 1238-1241 weak to fair signal with woman in French.  W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012 

747    JAPAN, JOIB NHK2 1242 good signal with man in Japanese. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

756    JAPAN, JOGK NHK1 1411-1415 poor to very weak signal at times. Man in Japanese matching // JOAK 594. New station. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

774    JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1245 good signal with ending of Radio English Conversation Program and beginning of new RECP program. Excellent signal at 1416 with man in Japanese. Heard on 6 hz filter. W-SW ewe. 11/08/2012

819    DPR OF KOREA, KCBS 1446-1449 fair signal at times with moderate splatter from Seattle 820. Woman in Korean and // 2850. New station W-SW ewe 11/109/2012 

828    JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1247 good signal with RECP program and // JOUB 774. 1418 good signal with 6 hz filter. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

846    UNKNOWN, 1513 very weak signal with music. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012 

873    JAPAN, JOGB NHK2 1253 weak signal with RECP program and // JOBB 828. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012

891    JAPAN, JOHK NHK1 1515-1519 poor, seemed to match woman in Japanese // 594. Mostly under Flute music from other station. W-SW ewe. 11/09/2012
